Aerie

With its design aesthetic paying tribute to the large nest of a bird of prey, typically built high in a tree or on a cliff, the Aerie fixture is a variation of our Drum luminaire, one of the most popular and versatile options from Barbican.

Aerie helps to add some silence as well as aesthetic warmth, texture, and presence to a space combining the best elements of architectural and decorative lighting into a single luminaire.

Lighting Options

LED is our standard light source. If you require fluorescent or incandescent sourcing, please contact Barbican for options. Lumens shown are the delivered lumens for the light fixture before the addition of the felt components.
Colour temperature is a description of the warmth or coolness of a light source. It is a characteristic of visible light and is stated in units of absolute temperature, known as Kelvin (K). To specify Colour Tuning contact Barbican for Control Options.
A colour rendering index (CRI) is a quantitative measure of the ability of a light source to reveal the colours of various objects faithfully in comparison with an ideal or natural light source.
All standard drivers have 0-10V (10%) dimming included. Other dimming options as well as Integrated Controls, Sensors and Proprietary equipment can be included in your fixture. Please add your requirements into the notes section below.
